Please note that Forest Garden tours only operate between October and April due to wet and slippery conditions.

Forest Garden Tours

Forest Garden Tours

Forest Garden tours start at the end of October (Labour Weekend) and run through to April (usually Easter), as conditions are too wet and slippery from May to September.

Join us for a guided tour with Robert or Robyn Guyton through their 28-year-old forest garden.

 

Options Include:

Standard Tour: One and a half hours, Minimum cost $50; $25 per person if two or more; Maximum 12 people.

 

Mini Tour: Thirty minute guided visit to Riverton’s ten year old Community Forest Garden,

  Suggested donation: $10 - 30 per person (sliding scale), minimum two people, maximum eight people.

Tours are run as a fundraiser for South Coast Environment Society’s Open Orchard project.

​

Please note:

  • Children are welcome but must stay with caregivers at all times while on the property. Suitable clothing and footwear must be worn.

  • Tour dates are subject to host availability and extreme weather

  • Tours will continue in inclement weather so please wear sturdy shoes and warm clothes and bring a coat in case of rain.​
